In Rochefort, Nadine Salem’s studio is not just a workspace: it is a place of artistic life. Exhibition and creation come together there every day, offering a warm, sensitive, and decidedly contemporary experience. In the main room, the paintings are hung at eye level; they echo one another, call out to each other, and sometimes jostle… Here, you sit down, you talk, you choose a point of view. Moreover, recent works sit alongside older pieces.
Meeting with the contemporary painter
In the sunroom, light moves through the space, passes through fabrics, and reveals glazes. As the hours go by, colors shift and contours change: the space becomes a true laboratory of light. It is there that certain compositions are born, that sketches take shape…
